Wellbeing
At our school, wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, grounded in a culture of inclusivity and a strong sense of belonging. We focus on each student’s strengths and celebrate their small successes, recognising that every achievement matters. Our dedicated wellbeing team includes a school psychologist, a youth worker, and our experienced teaching staff. Together, they work collaboratively to create a nurturing environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to reengage with learning. The team continually enhances their skills through professional learning and psychoeducation to ensure they provide the best care and guidance tailored to each student’s needs.
How we support student wellbeing
Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.
We do this through:
- highly experienced and skilled staff who help students feel welcome and included
- access to school counsellors, school psychologists and specialist staff
- targeted programs that support attendance, social skills and health
- clear expectations to support learning and foster respectful relationships
- staff teams who get to know each child and work closely with families
- developing personalised learning and support plans for students
- open communication about wellbeing and support.
